That works fine if you have the name of the person or business, but what if you just had a phone number and needed to find out whom it belonged to? At a popular search engine like Google, for example, you can do a reverse phone number look-up quickly and easily. Simply type in the area code and phone number in the search entry box and click on Google Search or hit enter on your keyboard. The phone number and contact information will appear at the top of the results page.

By the way, it's important to note that this trick will only work when the number you're looking up is a listed number!
